Ford Explorer: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms / Removal and Installation - Front Door Window Glass

Removal

NOTE: LH (left-hand) side shown, RH (right-hand) side similar.

1. Remove the front door window regulator and motor.
   Refer to: Front Door Window Regulator and Motor (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
   

1. 
   Lower the front door glass to the full down position.
   
   1. Remove the tape.
      
   2. Lower the front door glass to the full down position.
      

1. 
   Remove the front door upper trim.
   
   1. Remove the pin-type retainer.
      
   2. Remove the pin-type retainer and release the front door upper trim.
      
   3. Release the front door upper trim.
      
   4. Release the front door upper trim.
      
   5. Remove the front door upper trim.
      

1. Remove the front door inner belt moulding.
   

1. Remove the front door glass.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Carry out the power door window initialization.
