Removal
NOTE:
LH (left-hand) side shown, RH (right-hand) side similar.

Remove the front door trim panel.
Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the interior front door handle.
-
Disconnect the interior front door handle electrical connector.

Remove the interior front door handle screws.
-
Remove the interior front door handle.

NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Remove the front door lock control switch.

Release the retaining clips.
-
Remove the front door lock control switch.
-
NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Release the retaining tabs and remove the front door tweeter speaker.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Position the liftgate weatherstrip aside.
Remove the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.
Release the liftgate scuff plate trim panel clips...
WARNING: Normal cruise control will not brake when your vehicle is approaching
slower vehicles. Always be aware of which mode you have selected and apply the brakes
when necessary.
