Overview
Power Window Operation
Standard power window features include one-touch up and one-touch down (front doors only). The window control switch:
-
raises or lowers all windows from the driver window
control switch or the individual side window from the corresponding
individual door switch.
-
automatically lowers/raises the LH or RH
front windows when the corresponding front window control switch is
momentarily pressed/pulled to the second detent position and released.
-
has a rear passenger window lock-out feature.
Global Open
The RKE
can be used to operate the front door windows when the ignition is off
and the accessory delay feature is not active. Within a short time after
unlocking the vehicle doors with the RKE transmitter, press and hold the unlock button on the RKE
transmitter until the front door windows begin moving. The front door
windows automatically open. Pressing the lock or unlock button while the
front door windows are moving stops window movement.
Rear Window Defrost
Press the rear window defrost switch (integral to the HVAC module) to activate the rear window defrost. The rear window defrost automatically turns off after a short period of time.
