Removal

  1. Remove the valve cover.
    Refer to: Valve Cover (303-01A Engine - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit bolts, then remove the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit.

Installation

  1. Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material. Install the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit, then install and tighten the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit bolts.
    Torque: 97 lb.in (11.0 Nm)
  1. Install the valve cover.
    Refer to: Valve Cover (303-01A Engine - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), Removal and Installation).
