Two Leg Puller

Removal

NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.

  1. Remove windshield wiper pivot arm nut cover.
  1. Remove windshield wiper pivot arm nut.
  1. Remove the wiper pivot arm.
    Use the General Equipment: Two Leg Puller

Installation


  1. Verify the windshield wiper motor is in the PARK position.
    1. Turn the ignition ON.
    1. Pull the switch down to cycle the windshield wiper motor.
    1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  1. NOTE: The hood is removed in this step for clarity.


    Install the wiper pivot arm.
    1. Align the wiper blade with the marks on the windshield.
    1. Install the wiper pivot arm nut.
      Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
  1. Install the windshield wiper pivot arm nut cover.
