Removal

WARNING:
When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.
Loosen the pressure relief cap.

Disconnect the coolant control valve electrical connector.

Clamp off the coolant control valve hoses.
-
Loosen the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.
Torque:
44 lb.in (5 Nm)
-
Remove the bolt and the transmission fluid heater coolant control valve.
Torque:
62 lb.in (7 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill and bleed the cooling system.

A - Single wipe.
B - Intermittent wipe.
C - Normal wipe.
D - High-speed wipe.
Note: Fully defrost the windshield before you switch the windshield wipers
on.
Note: Make sure that you switch the windshield wipers off before entering
a car wash...
