Removal

Remove the front bumper cover.
Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

Cut the tie strap, disconnect the electrical connector,
remove the nuts and the flashing light emitting diode (LED) lamp.
Torque:
18 lb.in (2 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the transfer case.
Remove and discard the boot clamp.
Remove and discard the front driveshaft boot.
Installation

Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material...
