If your Kia Picanto is equipped with a sunroof, use the switch on the overhead console to slide the glass open or raise it into the tilted position. The same control is used to close the glass from either opening position.
Normal sunroof operation requires the ignition switch or ENGINE START/STOP button to be in the ON position. The sunroof remains operable for approximately 30 seconds after the ignition is switched to ACC or LOCK/OFF, allowing a brief period for adjustment after switching off.
WARNING
Operate the sunroof only while the vehicle is stationary. Adjusting it while driving can distract you from controlling the vehicle and may lead to an accident.
Switch off the ignition and take the key with you whenever you leave the vehicle, even briefly. This helps prevent children from operating the sunroof without supervision.
Do not sit on the roof or use it to support heavy objects. Weight placed on the roof or around the opening can damage the sunroof and its components.
NOTE
Do not operate the sunroof while roof bars are installed or luggage is carried on the roof. Leave the sunroof closed when either of these conditions applies.
