Turn the headlight levelling switch to adjust the beam height for the number of occupants and the weight carried in the luggage compartment. Changes in loading can affect the vehicle’s stance and the direction of the headlight beams.
Selecting a higher switch number lowers the beams. Keep the setting appropriate to the load so the headlights illuminate the road without dazzling other road users.
The table gives examples of suitable settings for your Kia Picanto. If your loading arrangement differs from those listed, select the position that produces a beam height closest to the corresponding example.
