Interior Trim Remover

Removal

NOTE: LH (left hand) shown, RH (right hand) similar.

Left hand side

  1. Remove the hood latch release handle.
    Refer to: Hood Latch Release Handle (501-14 Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems, Removal and Installation).

All vehicles


  1. Remove the front door scuff plate trim panel.
    1. Release the clips.
      Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    1. If equipped.
      Disconnect the front door scuff plate trim panel electrical connector.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Inspect and position the front door weather strip lip so that it overlaps the top of the front scuff plate trim panel.
