Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the cooling module.
    Refer to: Cooling Module (303-03A Engine Cooling - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the bolt, release the tabs and remove the A/C condenser.
    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
  1. Remove the bolts, release the tabs and remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.
    Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
  1. Remove the upper and lower radiator insulators.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
    Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding (303-03A Engine Cooling - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), General Procedures).
