Removal

All vehicles except Police

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the front seats.
    Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).
  1. Release the clips and remove the RH floor console side trim panel.
  1. Disconnect the RH floor console electrical connectors.
  1. Release the clips and remove the LH floor console side trim panel.
  1. Disconnect the LH floor console electrical connectors.

  1. Remove the bolts, position the console rearward to release the front clips and remove the front floor console
    1. Remove the front bolts.
      Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
    1. Remove the rear bolts.
      Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Police vehicles


  1. Remove the police rear console extension plate.
    • Remove the bolts.
      Torque: 40 lb.in (4.5 Nm)
    • Remvoe the nuts.
      Torque: 40 lb.in (4.5 Nm)
  1. Remove the nuts and the front police floor console plate.
    Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
