Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the fuel pump sender unit.
    Refer to: Fuel Pump and Sender Unit (310-01A Fuel Tank and Lines - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the fuel tank level sensor float and arm.

      Release the retainer tab.
    1. Remove the Fuel Level Sender.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
