Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02) .
    1. Remove the fasteners.
      Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
    1. Remove the fasteners.

      Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
    1. Remove the push pin.
    1. Remove the fasteners.
      Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
    • Disconnect the EVAP canister electrical connector.
    • Disconnect the vapor vent hose.
  1. Rotate the EVAP canister solenoid clockwise and remove the EVAP canister solenoid.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
