Draining

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

If equipped.
Torque:
21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

Remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
-
Clean the drain plug and the area around drain plug.
-
Install the drain plug.
Torque:
142 lb.in (16 Nm)
Filling
-
-
Clean the fill plug and the area around fill plug. Remove the fill plug.
-
Fill the transfer case fluid.
-
Install the fill plug.
Torque:
142 lb.in (16 Nm)
Check
Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
NOTE:
Make sure that the vehicle is standing on a level surface...

Door Lock Control Switch
Keyless entry keypad (if equipped)
Passive entry system (if equipped)
RKE transmitter (if equipped)
The driver door can also be unlocked/ locked manually using the mechanical key in a door lock cylinder...
Categories
When these locks are set, you cannot open the rear doors from the inside.
A child safety lock is on the rear edge of each rear door. You must set the child
safety lock separately on each door.
